Pestilent decay is an instrumental microtonal mathcore (previously brutal death metal) band, based out of Toronto, Canada and founded by Michael Carnovale. Pestilent Decay exclusively uses a 25 note per octave microtonal guitar. With musical influences from various mathcore and brutal death metal bands, Pestilent Decay sets out to create a complex and punishing listening experience.
